   Wednesday, April 15th, 2008  Instinct Test

                                                    Delilah was the poster girl for the Instinct Test. She also worked the livestock for Jim and the Contestants.
                                                    I have this poster, all weather-beaten and taped and ripped hanging in my dogroom.

(Left) Jim and Susie Dekieffer provided their lovely Shetland Sheep for the instinct test. It was a cold and windy day. (Right) Stock Dog Delilah says..."Please
Mom. Can I go get them?"

The Sheep are smart enough to plaster themselves against a wall when they think a dog doesn't have the power to peel them off that wall. But Justice has no problems at all with this exercise. He thinks its fun! Take a gander at those pink boots!

In spite of the weather all the instinct test participants showed up and had a great time. Nobody does instinct testing any better than Jim Dekieffer who was written up the following day in the Greeley Tribune. Framed in my dogroom!
